About the presenters Denise Mills and Debbie Leonard. 

It shouldn’t surprise you to learn that Denise and Debbie met over 20 years ago at a networking event. Across the country, Denise Mills is known as a “Connector”.  She is Co-Founder and Chief Mindset Officer of LeaderFuelNow – an organization that facilitates executive women’s round tables, provides executive coaching, develops leadership development programs and facilitates Board Retreats.  Denise attributes her company’s success to her network.

Denise has received numerous business awards including twice being named one of Kansas City’s most influential women; recognized by the US State Dept. as a key resource for international women diplomats; and by the Kansas City Business Journal’s “Women Who Mean Business”.

Debbie Leonard is a CPA, but fortunately, not a typical one! Dubbed the Networking Queen, Debbie has founded and facilitated numerous networking groups over the past 25 years starting with The Business Referral Alliance (affectionately referred to as the BRA group), the Jewish Professionals networking group; and most recently co-founded the Live Happy Network Happy group.

Debbie is author of The C'crets of Networking: A Guide to (Tactfully) Navigating Past the Castoffs and Toward the Champions ( which will be available today).  After appearing on MSNBC’s Your Money with JJ Ramburg in December, the demand for the C’crets workshops has gone national.  A Partner with the Overland Park accounting firm of Thill and Leonard, Debbie is a master at sharing techniques to make your networking not only profitable but stress free!
