Can you say “no” to your boss and keep your job?
[UPDATE: Unfortunately, we need to postpone this luncheon. Registrants are being notified about their refunds. We'll let you know when it's rescheduled. We apologize for any inconvenience.]
One of the most difficult challenges a professional can face is telling a boss “no” when the boss is already thinking “yes.” Complex systems of getting the job done, paired with ethical considerations, can lead to situations when you need to tell your boss “no.” Learning from the experiences of others is one key to success. Another is to practice “no” techniques that allow you to become a trusted advisor long before the need to say “no” presents itself.
