Sheri Johnson, president of Morningstar Communications, provides clients with the right strategic approach and ensures focus on driving their business results through high-quality execution. She graduated from the University of Denver and double majored in psychology and mass communications with an emphasis in public relations. Her career encompasses working at agencies and on the corporate side in a wide variety of industries, including technology, banking, consumer products and telecommunications.

Sheri is passionate about giving back to the community, especially to causes that empower or inspire people to improve their own lives. She serves on the boards of Alphapointe and Nonprofit Connect, belongs to the Public Relations Society of America, and serves as the University of Kansas PRSSA chapter advisor. She is an alumnus of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Centurions Leadership Program and was named a Rising Star in Philanthropy in 2011 by Nonprofit Connect. In 2013, Sheri was also recognized as an Influential Woman by KC Business magazine.
