Sharon Hoffmann is an enterprise editor at The Kansas City Star. She grew up in the metropolitan area, interned at The Star, graduated from the University of Kansas and promptly moved to the east coast. She worked for 16 years at newspapers in Rochester, New York, where she met her husband. After her kids were born, she moved home. She has been editing Kansas City Star stories since 1999.
